The brief: a catalogue where every lot can be checked

Kynvell Bio Labs ships lyophilized research compounds from the United States to qualified researchers. Research use only terms had to hold from the first page view, which left three problems to solve.

01

Adults and researchers only

Visitors had to confirm they are 18 or over and buying for laboratory research before seeing the catalogue.

02

Every lot on the record

A researcher had to find the certificate for the exact vial in hand, from the lot number or the label.

03

Savings for buying in quantity

Buying two or more vials had to show the saving on the product page and charge it in the cart.

The catalogue holds 25 single compounds and 4 blends, plus AquaVell bacteriostatic water for reconstitution.

How we solved it

The three problems from the brief, and what we built for each one. Everything below is live on kynvellbiolabs.com today.

01 Age and research terms

A two statement check before the catalogue

Our script reworks the store's age check so the catalogue stays closed until both statements are ticked.

  • 18 or over, and laboratory research only: Enter the catalog unlocks when both are ticked
  • A Restricted label on the card, and a research use only line linking the policy and the terms
  • Leave site exits to Google
  • Remember me is ticked for the visitor, so the answer holds for 30 days

02 Lot certificates

A COA system built around the lot number

Every certificate sits in one library, matched to the lot number printed on the vial.

  • Search by compound, lot number or vial serial, with the serial checked against the store's records
  • Certificates open in a viewer on the page, with earlier lots kept under each product
  • A link with the lot or serial in it opens that certificate straight away, ready for a QR code on the label
  • The latest certificates also show on the home page, under batch verification

03 Quantity pricing

A quantity discount the cart charges

The saving shows on the product page as the quantity changes. This is the KB-3 RT page at three vials. Select a marker to see what each part of the page does.

In the cart The tier price is charged on the line, with a note of the percentage and the amount saved

At checkout The same note carries into the order summary, with no code to enter

Every product The same four tiers on every product in stock

  • Quantity discount1 vial, 2 vials save 3.5%, 3 to 9 save 5%, 10 or more save 40%, with the price under the title, the subtotal and the saving redrawn as the quantity changes.
  • Certificate panelThe lot, purity, lab accession number and report date for this product, with View COA, Download and the earlier lot.
  • Trust stripResearch use only, certificate per lot, independently tested and restricted sale to 18+, set under the add to cart button.

Questions about the Kynvell Bio Labs build

Who built the Kynvell Bio Labs website?

Kynvell Bio Labs was designed and built by Aventus Digital on WordPress and WooCommerce, including the two statement age check, the COA system with vial serial lookup, and quantity pricing charged in the cart. See more of our peptide website work.

Does Aventus provide legal or regulatory compliance advice?

No. We are a web agency, not a law firm. We build compliance-aware architecture, such as Research Use Only messaging, age and researcher gates, careful product language and checkout acknowledgements, based on years of working in this niche. Final responsibility for regulatory compliance sits with the store owner, and we always recommend getting independent legal advice for your market.

How much does a peptide store like this cost?

Our e-commerce stores start from £399, with a mid-tier option at £599. A full custom build like Kynvell Bio Labs, with its own research check, a lot certificate system and quantity pricing charged in the cart, falls into our Flagship tier from £1,999. Full details are on our pricing page.

Can you build a store like this for the UK market?

Yes. Kynvell Bio Labs is built for the US, but we are a UK agency and adapt every build to its market. For UK stores, that means product language shaped around MHRA and ASA/CAP rules rather than FDA wording, plus guidance on payment processors that accept research peptide sellers.
